Robert Yalden

Partner, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP

Robert Yalden is a partner in the Montreal office of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP where he practices business law and serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Mr. Yalden teaches a course on comparative corporate governance at McGill University's Faculty of Law and has also taught business law at the University of Toronto Law School. Mr. Yalden is President of Equitas: International Centre for Human Rights Education and a member of the Board of Directors of several other for profit and not for profit organizations. Mr. Yalden is a member of the bars of Ontario and Quebec and holds law degrees from the University of Oxford (M.A.), the University of Toronto (LLB) and l'Université de Montréal (LLB), together with an undergraduate degree in philosophy and history from Queen's University (B.A.(Hons)). He also served as a law clerk to Madame Justice Bertha Wilson of the Supreme Court of Canada.
