Wendy Knight
Ombudsman, RBC
Wendy Knight is RBC Ombudsman, responsible for the stewardship of an impartial process for open and voluntary resolution of RBC client and employee concerns. Wendy has held domestic and international executive positions in risk policy, sectoral strategies, commercial banking, and lending approval.
Prior to joining RBC, Wendy worked in various private sector enterprises across Canada including co-ownership of a small retail business, property management, marketing with a Canadian multinational glass and container manufacturer and as a labour relations representative for General Motors of Canada.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Concordia University); Master of Business Administration (Dalhousie University); and is a Fellow Certified General Accountant (FCGA). She has served as board member on CGA Association provincial committees as well as non-profit organizations. She has been a guest lecturer at university business school programmes and CGA conferences, speaking on strategies for sustaining successful business/banking relationships and effective complaint resolution.
