Joan Grass

Joan Grass was Director, Ethics & Policy Management, for Bell Canada. She was responsible for Bell's ethics program and Code of Business Conduct which covers over 35, 000 employees. In 1999 she received the Bell CEO Award for her work in computer based ethics training. Following her graduation from McGill University, Joan began her professional career in IS/IT and as a customer systems engineer after joining Bell in 1984. Joan has been an active volunteer for over twenty years at York Central Hospital near Toronto where she received the Hospital Association award for outstanding service in 1999 and was honoured with the Bell International Year of the Volunteer Award in 2001. In addition to her leadership role at EthicsCentre CA, Joan is a Director of the Ethics Practitioners' Association of Canada.
